Jiu-Jitsu near San Ramon — the I-680 shot to Pleasanton

Ground Rules Academy does not have a San Ramon address. San Ramon members already train with us anyway, because the building sits at the I-580 / I-680 interchange in Pleasanton: a straight 680 shot, not a crosstown errand. The door is 7034 Commerce Circle, Suite F, Pleasanton, CA 94588.

If you searched “jiu-jitsu San Ramon” and landed here, that is the geography. We train in Pleasanton. People who already live or work along 680 treat class as the stop that finally has a point.

The drive is the reason it works

I-680 is the north–south spine San Ramon already uses. GRA is not down a chain of surface streets on the far side of Pleasanton; it is the interchange gym. You stay on 680, you are at the 580 junction, you find Suite F on Commerce Circle.

Come once. If the room is not worth the freeway, you will know the same night. If it is, you already understand the drive better than a map pin would explain it.

What you are driving to

I founded this academy in 2024. I’m a BJJ black belt with twenty years of teaching, and I still teach chemistry at Las Positas College. We don’t just teach techniques — we teach why they work. I break moves down using leverage, momentum, base, and friction, then I make you feel them. Can’t remember the exact steps of a takedown? Control the center of mass. Kids train after school: BJJ Sprouts (5–7) and BJJ Buds (8–13). Teens and adults start in Fundamentals — all levels, and that is a San Ramon beginner’s first class. Advanced is systems work. Open Mat is Friday evening and Saturday; drop-ins welcome. Gi and no-gi days, midday Fundamentals, and Sunday closed: the schedule. Membership options are on pricing.

JG network — still one GRA address

We joined JG Academy / Aspire to Inspire in 2026. You can visit sister mats (SubCulture / JG Livermore and other JG schools). That is network access. It does not create a San Ramon Ground Rules. I wrote about it in GRA Joins JG Academy.
